There was a Fox. Since his earliest childhood, he had felt different. He was more sensitive, more of a dreamer and much more playful than his brothers and sisters. He loved fairy tales, especially those about the Enchanted Forest.
Growing up, his fluff gave way to an intense blue coat. At first, his comrades mocked him by pointing him out and some refused to play with him. But soon, the mockery gave way to mistrust. He became a danger for the entire group, for his shimmering blue coat caught everyone’s eyes. So, the pack council forced him to leave.
It was then that he set out alone on the roads, filled with melancholy and memories… For days, he thought of those tales in which the foxes were blue and lived happily together.
One summer evening, he could not sleep. From the top of a hill, as he contemplated the sky, a small shooting star offered him a wish.
Amused laughter woke him up the next day. Believing that he was still dreaming, he looked around and felt a change in the air, a fragrance that was totally unknown to him. It was with astonishment and happiness that he discovered that he was in the Enchanted Forest, surrounded by foxes as blue and shimmering as himself.
