Once upon a time...

There was a Fox. One day, when he was little, he fell into a pot filled with silver. Don’t ask me how, that’s another story. From that day forward, his coat was transformed into fine threads of silver.
To be sure, in the summertime in the sun it was magnificent and all the girls only had eyes for him, but in the winter, it was cold and the metallic noise complicated many hunting expeditions for him.
For some time, he had felt a presence following him closely. It was not the inhabitants of the village; he had become accustomed to them and knew how to dodge their poor traps. No, this time, it was much more serious. It so happened that the silver threads he had left in the chicken coop on his last visit have so aroused the greed of the villagers that they had appealed to a famous hunter!
Not having any other choice, the Fox left the vicinity to avoid the unfortunate fate the villagers destined for him.

Of course, the Hunter eventually found him. The Fox was ready to meet his end, head held high. But the Hunter was shrewd and intelligent and rather than do him in, he proposed an arrangement. The Hunter would procure chickens and warm blankets for the winter. As for the Silver Fox, he would brush himself with a fine brush every morning. All for their common happiness.

From that time on, they both lived happily ever after.

The drawing and the colors

Graphic and colorful, this scarf presents a slight Japanese inspiration through its grains of rice motif on a white background. The gray foxes with the electric-blue, mischievous eyes stand out against multicolored trees. The whole is animated by an astonishing border mixing pink, cerulean blue and light yellow.
